Parent Coordinator’s Corner

Springfield Gardens Intermediate School 59 encourages the support of an active parent body to assist with parent events, functions and issues.

An Executive Board of Parent Teacher Association officers helps lead monthly public meetings, as well as various fund-raising and volunteer efforts on behalf of the school.

Parent members of the School Leadership Team help to advise the Principal on issues and policies affecting the school.

All parents are encouraged to run for these leadership positions, and become involved in the life of the school.

Volunteering even an hour of your time and/or talent is always appreciated.
